What is Education?

Education is a purposeful activity directed at achieving certain aims, such as transmitting knowledge or fostering skills and character traits. These aims may include the development of understanding, rationality, kindness, and honesty.

An Engineering Technology degree emphasizes the application of specific engineering techniques. Graduates with an Engineering Technology degree often seek employment in fields such as production, design, manufacturing and operations.

  • Computer Science Engineering.
  • Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Mechanical Engineering.
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Biotech Engineering.

Engineering and the development of new technologies are all about problem solving. Engineering involves applying scientific and mathematical knowledge to design and operate objects, systems, and processes to help us solve problems or reach goals. These processes often involve developing new technologies.

An Engineer , or Senior Engineer, uses math and science to solve different technical problems. Their main duties include developing new products for companies or individuals to use, providing maintenance to current products to enhance use and designing new machines to improve an organization’s efficiencies.

Since we encounter a wide variety of problems, we have an equally wide range of engineering disciplines, many of which are highly specialized and designed to solve those problems. In broad terms, engineering can be divided into four main categories – chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
