βThe school of nursing started in a very small way in 1934 and has grown over the intervening years to become a health training institution affiliated with the University of Botswana and financed by the government of Botswana.

Bamalete Lutheran School of Nursing (BLSoN) offers an advanced midwifery programme which takes 2 years (4 semesters).

Bamalete Lutheran School of Nursing Entry Requirements
The entry requirements to study an advanced midwifery programme which takes 2 years (4 semesters) are as follows;
- Minimum Diploma in General Nursing plus 2 years of clinical practice.
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana
- Must possess BGCSE or its equivalent with minimum grade D in English, C in Maths, Biology and Physics/Chemistry, Science Double Award, Combined Science& additional Combined Science or any other combination
- Pass interview
