Diploma in Counselling Course at Boitekanelo College

What is Counselling?

Counseling psychology is a psychological specialty that began with a focus on vocational counseling, but later moved its emphasis to adjustment counseling, and then expanded to cover all normal psychology psychotherapy.

Diploma in Counselling

This programme is arranged such that counseling students can begin to acquire a counseling style tailored to their own personality by familiarizing themselves with the major approaches to therapeutic practice. The programme also presents the basic concepts of different approaches and discusses features such as the therapeutic process (including goals), the client-therapist relationship and specific procedures used in the practice of counseling. It further fosters the development of critically reflective practitioners who are able to work in a variety of settings with a broad range of client groups.
