Health education involves teaching individuals and giving information to the public to achieve better health. Health promotion motivates individuals to accept behavioral change by directly influencing beliefs, values, and attitudes. The two concepts, health promotion, and education, share symbiotic strategies.

Diploma in Health Education and Promotion has its conceptual framework embodied in the Primary Health Care Model, of which the government of Botswana has committed itself to in order to promote the good health of its people.

Admission Requirements

BGCSE Or Equivalent With A Minimum Of 34 Points With At Least D In Biology, Chemistry, Physics Or DD Double Science, D in Mathematics And a D in English.

OR 2 Years Relevant, Current Health Work Experience With A Recommendation Letter.

Relevant Certificate From BQA Accredited Institution Of Higher Education.
