About us

The Ministry is a provider of essential services that are important for social and economic development of the country. These services are provided through the Departments of: Immigration and Citizenship; Civil and National Registration; Labour and Social Security; Gender; and the Department of Occupational Health and Safety.

The human resource skills development for industrial development is provided through the Botswana Training Authority, the Directorate of Apprenticeship and Industrial Training together with Madirelo Training and Testing Centre, and the Construction Industry Trust Fund.
