Admission Requirements of Botswana College of Engineering and Technology
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
a) The general Entry requirements to BCET is BGCSE or equivalent qualification with 6 subjects.
b) Applicants should hold BGCSE or equivalent qualification with a minimum of C in Maths and either Physics or Physical Science or Science Double Award; Pass of at least E in English should be among the qualifying subjects.
c) BGCSE points must be 30 or BGCSE with 26 points + NCC.
d) Applicants possessing a relevant Engineering certificate may also apply.
e) Applicants shall be considered only for the study programme they have applied for.
f) Preference would be given to those who completed BGCSE with the last 2 years.
g) Applicants will be required to fulfill the departmental reqiurements for admission.
Interested candidates should complete the official application form. Please send the application form, copies of certified certificates, references or any other relevant documents in a SEALED envelope marked with the NAME OF THE DEPARTMENT clearly marked to:

Admission Guide:
1. Photocopied application forms are accepted.
2. Indicate the name of the programme for which you have applied on the envelope.
3. Applicants from disadvantaged groups and those with special needs are encouraged to apply.
4. Failure to disclose accurate information will resit in the candidate being disqualified and their admissions revoked.
5. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
How To Apply
Interested candidates should complete the application form and attach the following;
1. Certified copies of educational certificates where possible and Certified Copy of Omang.
2. At least one reference/profile and statement with records of all achievements from previous school/rehabilitation or special unit attended.
3. A Valid Assessment Report either from a Government or Private Registered Psychologist for candidates with Mild Intellectual Disability.
NOTE: Interested candidates should complete the application form and completed application forms should be sent via post OR email to BCETADMISSIONS@gov.bw OR hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the Academic Registrar – Bostwana College of Engineering & Technology.
Certified copies of educational certificates and Omang or Passport (for non-citizens) must accompany the application.
