About Us

Founded by Chairman Nathan Lazarus in 1988, RAM is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and service-orientated family business. Currently co-managed by brothers David and Graeme, two generations of the family have had their hands firmly on the wheel in the day-to-day running of the business since its inception.

Over the past 25 years, the company has grown in size and stature and today has an unrivalled fleet (1500 vehicles) and network spanning southern Africa. The current staff complement is 3000 strong – a professional team who are trained and motivated to deliver on the brand promise – to handle every delivery as if it was our own.

Our clients include major corporations and leaders in the retail sector. The Mobile Telephone, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical industries are some where we have considerable experience and a proven track record in delivery.
